Last week It took 45 minutes to draw a set of 18 loaded hja's off the block at dowlow (near peak forest) with a 66, the following day a 60 did it with out breaking a sweat. Also we have to break test with handbrakes on around peak with a 66 but a 60 will hold the train no problem with all...

Well they don't as a rule they have an agreement with aslef that trainee drivers can not be taken on if there is driver ops already at the depot, the driver ops will progress to mainline and more driver ops will be employed thus never taking on trainee drivers that's how it works at my depot...

If your an external applicant I wouldn't expect great things from this recent driver recruitment, the internal interest for driving roles has been huge and will be for sometime with everyone getting there two lives back.

Alternative trousers are a better fit and have pockets on their trouser legs.

Did anyone apply for the recent ground staff position at peak forest for Db schenker, I have been told that this is a great role to be promoted to trainee driver. I was also told that Db schenker do not take on external trainee drivers but are required to advertise the role nevertheless...

Just completed the comparison test for the trainee driver role at sheffield got 56 this time did any one else apply for this role?

I m the same mate only applied last night and just completed my comparison test got 57 all correct, did one on monday for the depot driver job and scored 46 so fingers croosed. seems to me some of the Candidate's may have dropped out cause they seem to be rushing the through.

Don't give up mate next time u'll know what expect, we could all be way off the mark and we won't know untill we receive an email from northern. Whatever the out come u've got to keep trying till it eventually pays off.

Just been reading through past threads and 49 did pass just hope i got all 49 correct pretty confident i did, but in the last 10secs they seemed to come thick fast and didnt get chance to answer a couple Fingers crossed.

I've completed the test to managed to get 49. 150 seems pretty tough, was the time limit random (5-10 mins) maybe the 150 mark applied to the 10 min time limit. If so then our points weren't to bad.

It's for the depot driver job mate, Going to do mine tomorrow so hopefully it will work will let you know how I get on. I have just logged in and have not got a link either!

I have received an email informing me I'm to do an online assessment. Can anyone tell me what to expect?

Mine is the same,it just means they have received your application and it's on hold untill they have reached there decision to shortlist you or not. Have not received an email off them saying thank you for your application and when to expect to hear back from them.?
