I think CS would do well to get the new highland stock available ASAP and available to be swapped in/out as needed on the lowlander until these issues are sorted. Moving to the new stock on all routes full time feels many months off.

TFGM and Manchester councils blinkered love of all things Metrolink makes me nauseous with their wish to tramify everything, they weirdly see it as Manchester's answer to the London underground.

According to twitter sleeper was to be held at Euston and Glasgow/Edinburgh to sleep on with passengers taking the early West/East coast trains in the morning but have since changed this and are now running. Must be confident of it being resolved now.
