Indeed, the interiors of many 465s do look worse for wear (and smell it too!) Never really have any issue with their mechanical health though.... By far the worst aspect of the ride on them is the toilets, which evidently got no attention during the refurb.

No worries; off peak on Oyster Euston-North Greenwich is £2.80 (£4.70 with cash). That journey is quite simple, just get the Northern Line from Euston to London Bridge, and from there get on the Jubilee Line to North Greenwich.

North Greenwich and Greenwich stations are connected by the 188 bus route, so you might as well just travel to Greenwich on National Rail and get the bus up to North Greenwich to save you having to change your ticket.
