Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

Given the scheduling constraints so far, I imagine that the Court staff will be disappointed and would have liked to have had this one done and dusted rather than having it bouncing along like the others.

Not familiar with that terminology. Does that encompass an earlier case overrunning or similar issues? Hopefully not a case of the Courts not being prepared, rather than there being an unforeseen obstacle. This one would appear to be the most straightforward of the collection.

Products and services where the new version is not as good or has significant disadvantages as the old

The information on the screen is very clearly displayed and easy to read, but across the whole of the screen woefully little information is visible.

You beat me to it. The first thing that came to mind when I saw this thread. The new version has far less information visible on screen without having to scroll to find it, and that which is there isn't at all clear. I just can't get on with it, the version being replaced was as good as you...

    Reform UK discussion

I would be interested to know how many more lost deposits there were here than the previous highest. Will be very surprising f the deposit isn't increased substantially from £500 in the next year.

    Natural phenomenon you have witnessed?

As seen at Sant Tomas on Menorca. Sunsets are often spectacular there, but this was special.

    Older cars you have seen

Just the perspective from the driver's seat. The exhaust did finish at an angle out towards the nearside.

    Older cars you have seen

An interesting March 1989 Range Rover in very good condition seen at Beauly Filling Station this afternoon: I presume the Pickup is a custom variation, but someone may be able to enlighten us.

    Older cars you have seen

My late wife had a 1993 1.3 "Super S" from new, still in very good condition 10 years later when we replaced it with a Seat Ibiza 2.0 Sport. As @GusB says, very reliable, and good to drive. Though I would've liked a bit more than 1.3 for what was the "sporty" model to give it a little extra. I...

    The 'Rip Off Britain' thread

You have just won "The Golden Shot". Ah, wrong one! Thanks for the link, very interesting, I hadn't explored that far. I see that the fundraiser carries the 1.9% payment transaction fee from donations, quite understandable as that doesn't reach Just Giving anyway. Plus a 30p fee per donation...

    The 'Rip Off Britain' thread

Here's one I hadn't expected to add to this thread. A nephew is doing a 10k swim in September to raise funds for the neonatal department where his daughter spent some time earlier in the year. I've just been onto the well known website on which the donations are being processed. Just before...
