1H41 has been routed at Hanslope Junction to go via Northampton with 1D94 right behind it, also routed via Northampton... 4M24 is just approaching Long Buckby with 1P04, 9G40, 9G41, 1H74, 1Y69, 1F36 & 1S98 all stacked up behind it !! 1787600652 BLOK = has now appeared again at Hanslope Junction..

4M24 has just left the loop north of Northampton Station heading North with 1P04 right behind it...!! 9G40 & 9G41 are currently waiting to head North through Platform 2...

The Southern ECML was up the Swanee yesterday too... (15 August) Planned to catch the 1054 Thameslink from PBO which was cancelled due to a Thameslink Train playing up at Farringdon... We all got shoved on the next few LNER trains which were ALSO full due to (i believe) an item on the overhead...

It'll be fun for us in Peterborough soon as we will be surrounded by ROC's controlling trains just outside the area... York ROC = East Coast Main Line EMCC = Stamford - Birmingham Line Colchester or Romford ROC = Line through March and Ely And there's the Spalding Line which is at Lincoln SCC...

Yeah, I know that... It was just that they normally go from Platform 8 I wonder if the Thameslink service will EVER go through "The Core" on a Sunday??

The hourly Peterborough trains from London Kings Cross were going into and out of Platform 1 yesterday.

Oh no, It's just me grumbling.... You get squeezed into a seat between Birmingham and Leicester..... Pulls into Leicester and empties Then the train runs almost empty to Peterborough (the 2022 train is normally RAMMED all the way!!) Then it fills back up again for the run to Ely/Cambridge!!

My major bugbear when I used to catch these trains between Birmingham New Street and Stamford/Peterborough was the amount of people that only used it to go between Birmingham and Leicester..... Also the fact that it's only a 2-car service and was normally packed on a Saturday evening!!!

Passed Nala on the station overbridge back on Boxing Day 2023, after Stevenage thumped my side 3-0 on a very cold day.... A stroking session of Nala made me feel a bit better! RIP Nala :(

Perhaps the Tea Lady trod on the 3-pin plug at Liverpool Street IECC ???

Update on the BBC News website....

Surely fans can use Wembley Stadium Station (on the Chiltern Line) or Wembley Central (on the Bakerloo / Lioness Line).. I know I've used both of them on a match day at Wembley, and Wembley Central is only about a 10-15 minute walk from Wembley Stadium itself?

Salisbury, as when I caught a Exeter-Waterloo service back in early March - our train was delayed at Salisbury awaiting a "new" crew....

I'm presuming that ETCS will come into play in the Grantham area when Doncaster PSB goes into York ROC? All the lines south of Stoke Tunnel (The boundary between Doncaster and the old Peterborough PSB) are now under the control of York ROC.
