I've been with Freightliner as a trainee driver for the past 3 months.

Just had my invite to attend assessment day in March, won't be attending.

I am currently on the course and we will be there until mid Febuary and there will be at least a week gap between courses so I'd prepare for a late feb/early march start from what we have been told.

I still am until Friday pal.

After starting with DRS 2 years ago and turning up in a suit on my first day I was told I was over dressed, we will be issued with our uniform on the first day, I just feel you should be comfortable and wear clothing suitable for the classroom, didn't want to come across like I didn't care!

I'm in the holiday inn until December 20th and I believe we are back there after Christmas for another 5-7 weeks finish off rules and traction.

Jeans and t shirt ill be wearing. No real need to dress up.

Thanks pal, got a trainee drivers job with FLHH!! Start next month, gutted to be going but hey ho, onwards and upwards.

Because I'm internal, based at Grangemouth and they won't give me a transfer to Crewe.

There might be an extra place on this as I've pulled out.

Medical passed and uniform ordered, roll on the 18th!

Letter thought this morning lads, November 18th is the start date subject to medical. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Just to make you all aware nobody's medical results have turned up!! This is getting chased up today.

Hotels Monday to Friday for the training at Crewe lads. FLHH cover the cost, prob be allocated about 15-20 quid for a meal each night too.
