Be interesting how they are installed at Rayleigh it currently has 3 exits, 1, through the booking hall / Waiting room with limited space. 2, through a side entrance next to the booking hall again with limited space 3, on the Southend bound platform underneath the footbridge. I guess they will...
You never know with GWR, I remember the saying when I was a child in the sixties. British Rail and the Great Western, as they always did their own thing.
The current setup works fine, great connections at Shenfield. If the GA services were replaced by Lizzy line the trains would be full and standing leaving Shenfield. If the GA services are kept what’s the point.
The season ticket fare to Liverpool St are the same from all stations Southend Vic to Rayleigh. Which I believe is due to C2C fares being cheaper to Fen St, However the car park charges get more expensive the nearer to Liv St you get. Will be interesting to see how busy Beaulieu Park gets.
C2C have sponsored Southend United for another season, below from Southend United‘s website.
“c2c and Southend United have today proudly announced the continuation of their Platinum Partnership which will see c2c as the club’s front of shirt partner again for the 2025/26 season”
