no. Thats not right. At least, the public aren't supposed to get copies! However, I've seen a well known book shop near picc selling the rule book before now....
Yeah, i think 300 men was a liberal estimate by management, in order to stir the last pay deal through. As for relocating, well yes, its fast becoming a 'must do' for those out of work. There's not many industries which pay like it!
Yourself and thousands of others glen. Its quite possibly the worst time in 15 years to get into driving. There are so many redundant drivers already, probably more to follow too. Good luck with it Glen, but don't get your hopes up too much.

No probs. Only too glad to help. Merry Christmas.....:|
Old Timer. Its well known that FOC s have paths for non existant services. As for the anti DB rant which had nothing to do with much, yes. The DB drivers still have conditions to work to. No driving past the 11th hour, PNB between 3 and 5 hours etc. I used to work for them. And Freightmaster...
Well "Old Timer".
I bow down to the all knowing oracle that is yourself and best pal Freightmaster. Do you know how many of those services actually run and how many are just paths??!
And you find it "suprising" that I think otherwise....what, that I don't hold the same opinions as you...
You can buy the Freightmaster books but to be honest, they're neither reliable or value for money.
As someone in the Freight side, its probably fair to say there has been a decrease, the work there is, cherry picked by subsidised FOCs. Not much new to the railways..
