There has to be winners and losers in this process, unfortunately on this occasion I am a loser but it has just strengthened my resolve to make sure I am a winner next time round (assuming I get this far again!). Remain positive and hopefully you will be one of the winners. Good luck to all!!

Thanks Paddy O'Doors, just need to make sure I learn from the experience and practice like hell for the new tests nearer the time.

For me badly I really mucked up the reaction test and didn't pass it so did not get interviewed. One of my lives gone and now have to wait 6 months before can apply again to a TOC/FOC. I really hope the others did a lot better than me. Good luck to those of you yet to take the second assessment day.

Thanks for that info. TDK, if Chiltern have five years worth of internals to consider then it is no wonder there are delays! Whilst I wish the internals all the best in there endeavours to become a trainee train driver hope there are spaces left for externals like me to have their application's...

Oh yes sorry aced1, I did the afternoon assessment how about you? I am fairly confident about the two further tests but looking at the various posts on the subject of the interview not looking forward to what I expect to be a gruelling interview.

Thanks aced1 for the info. Although the info. provided by Dynamonic is good for the timeline, I really was hoping for an actual copy of the advert or at least the text of the advert. My stage 2 assessment is on 7th October, wasn't offered a morning or afternoon assessment just advised it...

On to round 2 here too :-) Has anyone got a copy of the original advert for this role they can pm me? Stupidly I haven't saved a copy or printed it off. Good luck to everyone through to the next stage and taking the first assessment on the 24th.

I have not heard anything yet, though I know they have my application as I contacted them when I submitted it due to problems with submission as per previous posts. Hopefully should hear early next week as an earlier post said they advised that should expect a reply around a month after submission.
