I'm led to believe that 321349 and 321366 were the units send to Newport yesterday.

Currently in bed on the southbound highlander. Safe to say ive cancelled the alarms for the morning. Does anybody know why they use 92’s on these? Just an idea, but for days like today, wouldnt a 91 give you a good shot at making some time up when heavily delayed?

I see, I had no idea that they weren't going to be with C2C very long as the 357's have been there a while. Is a full fleet replacement looking likely in the foreseeable? or is it case of the 387's standing in whilst other 357's undergo maintenance and repair?

I've just seen a video of the C2C 387's being tested near Three Bridges. Does anyone know why they've bothered to fit shoe-gear on these? Is it purely for the test runs or will it remain? Thanks.

Nice pics and vids DL! So can this be coupled to standard 321's? or will this be avoided due to the differences in acceleration capabilities between units to save strain being placed on couplers etc.?
