I am based at Barnham, so will have routes from Littlehampton and Barnham to Victoria, London Bridge, Brighton, Portsmouth and Southampton.

Well im progressing through my training, having gained my PTS and SCWID now.
Just about to start signalling next week.
Anyhow, inbetween all of this, i need to start learning my routes.
Does anyone have any top tips for remembering these??

Generally the letter only authorises you to travel on the trains from your own TOC, therefore, it will only be the FCC trains that you can use...
Bit of a pain, but it will be worth it...

So to answer a couple of questions, I applied for this position in February...so a reasonably long recruitment process, but not as long as 18 months!!
And secondly, I have no previous work experience in the industry! Cant wait to start though...
I will be based at Barnham, (to answer earlier question!), but for the first few weeks I have to go to East Croydon every day.
Shifts are certainly going to be interesting as I have not had to work shifts before, but I can also see benefits to them as well!!

With regards to the routs, I dont know the exact number of routs that I will have to learn, so I may stand corrected on that!

So as many of you know, I am due to start training with Southern soon.
As part of my job I am required to know al of the routes that Southern operate on, including all stops. Does anyone have a link to this information?
