Help-Carnet abuse accusation

Hi, I was accused this morning by a ticket inspector of travelling with an altered/reused carnet ticket to avoid the fare. I had to submit my details to the ticket inspector and they retained the ticket. Unfortunately this is the case-partly down to poor admin on my side and my own...
