Unfortunately I’m in Stewartby with no Sunday bus, so would need to drive. Seems that the Bedford Park and ride is running this Sunday with four busses (rather than one!) an hour which may also be useful. That’s a one off too as Grant Palmer don’t usually run Sundays.

I think it already is, doesn’t show on Railboard and the river festival website says LNR confirmed no Sunday service this year. That’s me not going to the River festival Sunday as I’m not going to drive.

They replaced most services yesterday afternoon with a bus and did not even announce it had been replaced by a bus, just that it was cancelled. I had to phone them and sit on hold for ages to find out if I could get home from work. Today, mostly cancelled again. No idea if there are busses as...

Looks like the cancelled service is back. The one I planned to get was cancelled, but supposedly not any more, as I’m sitting on it!

Im headed back from London in the next few hours. Hoping a bus from bedford stops at Stewartby! Train out at 11:13 was fairly well loaded.

That’s me driving to Flitwick, although that looks like a fail tonight as well, so might just drive to north London tomorrow. It’s not like they even bother to say if there is rail replacement. Honestly less reliable than the fully bustituted service.

The LNWR website is making it sound like the last service of the day is replaced by a bus, so they might have done that. Two random buses towards Bedford appeared in the national rail app yesterday. On another note, looks like there is a train fault today. Few cancellations!

Looks like they failed to deliver a full service, they have cancelled the last run of the day due to an "operational incident" Wonder if the bus will return tonight?

I’m about to board the 8.21 out of Stewartby. Me and one other person did get on there, which is one more than I usually see. No rush of students today due to it being half term.

Announced on the LNWR website now. Also mentions £1 a ticket for any single on the line for adults, 50p for children to get people back onto the line after the long period of no/reduced service.

I find the “fast” is usually a coach, stopper is a minibus or transit van with seats. Generally fairly reliable although do have a habit of skipping stops late in the evening. Also, they have a habit of just waiting in the car park at Bletchley and won’t always call at the actual rail...
