This is a great thread :)
I have recently been through a DMI and have been successful. A couple of questions I was asked:
"tell me about a time you have motivated someone you worked with? "
" tell me about a time you have had to adapt to a changing situation"
I first went on about a 24...
Yeah I'm thinking today will be the day. That's just my gut feeling though. I get the impression that stage 3 is the hardest to get through. Can anyone verify that?
Wow, I can't even think of a time I haven't finished something... Other than my dinner! Lol! I have got some thinking on this. Thanks for info, hopefully get through and meet you in the future :)
can anyone who has recently had the driver manager's interview give any examples of questions you were asked? Trying to prepare as much as I can, but never had an interview like this before and really don't know what to expect.
thanks.
Yeah I was, totally messed up though so know I haven't got through :( looking forward to getting confirmation by email so I can put it behind me. Totally let nerves get the better of me. How do you think you did?
my stage 1 isn't until the 4th march. I'm practicing, but I want this position so bad I might actually cry if I don't get through :( I guess we all feel the same. Good luck to everyone. Hope they haven't filled the positions before I get to try out :)
Can anyone tell me if the paper version has the same dot layout and size as the group bourdon software to use on your computer? I can easily get around 1600 cells with no mistakes on the computer, but printed off some bigger sized examples and started missing some. Thanks x
Does anybody know if there are height restrictions with east Midlands trains? I am only 5'1" but have got through to assessment stage. Hoping they don't suddenly tell me I'm too short.
thanks, thats a good idea :) are they all done on paper then on assessment day? i would imagine it will be harder on paper. ill give it a go. after looking at all the other tests, im now more worried about the observational test :/
ok, so had another go and tried to do it a little more accurately. do you (any of you readers) reckon this will get me a pass?
total cells 1441
targets omitted 1
marked incorrect 0
row fluctuation 3.79
any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)
