That would actually fit with the announcement especially if the suspect device was the Stocksmoor side of Shepley - the Denby Dale side is briefly twin track and a crossover point and trains regularly linger waiting for their opposite number to arrive.

For anyone planning on travelling between Sheffield and Huddersfield it appears that the line is closed at Shepley on account of an unexploded bomb nearby. This is easily the most exciting thing to happen since the pacers were retired!
