Most of the people at the assessment yesterday did apply for NXG but a person I know also said he was told that he is not going any further. So either way you should receive a reply in due course.

You seem to be the first one being offered a position straight away. Until now i think they only put people on a waiting list for when positions become available.

Also, when they put you on the waiting list, is it because there is no vacancies at your preferred depot (if they asked for your preferred location) or none whatsoever. I’m only asking because I live south so ie. Upminster or Cockfosters might be a nono.

Going for my assessment this Friday, the 31st Jan. I’m fascinated by the length of the process.. I have sent the initial application on the 15th of October, not long after it was posted, waited a month for the closing date in mid Nov, got the good news that I passed the online...
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
