    Stagecoach South & South East

Service 11 passes to Regent Coaches and service 36 passes to YKS Travel. The Sunday 5 passes to I think YMS. Also Stagecoach lose some school routes in Ashford, passing to R&J and Chalkwell.

I have heard that it will be an all day hourly frequency of peak time only route 603, just running via Broad Oak

    Christmas period services - Medway

If I recall correctly the only Boxing Day service that Arriva ran in the entire of Kent this year was the 6X?

Kent Thameside Fastrack & Kent Country (Go-Ahead London)

It is being reported on Facebook that Kent Country have won a number of KCC tenders from 26th June/1st August 2026, which will see quite a large expansion of PVR. Sadly, this means that Redroute buses lose all of their service work, and I believe a number of school services from September...

    Stagecoach South & South East

Im pretty sure the 66 is KCC funded, I seem to remember that a link from Dover Priory to Eastern Docks has been in Kent’s BSIP plan for a while now - possibly this is just KCC combining funding a service to North Whitfield as well as serving Eastern Docks. Supposedly the new fastrack timetable...

    Go South Coast

The Uni-Links are on the 7 at the moment as the 24 plates that were used on the 7 have gone for the improved frequency on the 1. Obviously this won’t be able to happen when the uni timetables start from Monday, so the old 66 plates from the 1 are coming back to Bluestar for use on the 7 to...

One has been repainted already. They will be allocated to service work at Herne Bay, displacing 2x (2016) mmcs to Dover and Ashford each - presumably this will withdraw 4x of the 2008 Scania 400s which are earmarked for disposal.

    Stagecoach South & South East

More changes are coming from 3rd March at Stagecoach South East, this time for Ashford area. Judging by notices and proceedings, the lettered town routes A, B,C,D will be renumbered to 501, 502 etc. and route 10X will be renumbered 510. Routes 2,2A,10 and 14 have been completely de registered...

    Supermarket free bus routes.

Sainsburys Bybrook in Ashford still has the bus running, run by AMB travel. There’s no mention of it online but I have seen it a few times in recent months. IIRC it runs Monday-Saturday every 30-60 mins between Ashford Town Centre and Sainsburys Bybrook.

Yes, they are valid on both routes.

    Kent Coach Tours ceases trading

Kent Coach Tours in Ashford ceased trading from last week due to the retirement of the directors, with routes 113 and 125 already having moved to Stagecoach and their school run to Homewood in the hands of a (at the moment unknown - but most likely Chalkwell Coaches) new operator. However, it...

    Stagecoach South & South East

Looking at the route start and end points on the new registrations it appears routes 32 and 34 will be partly swapped. Essentially, Minnis Bay will no longer be served by route 34 and replaced with route 32, and Dane Valley will no longer be served by route 32 and replaced by route 34. The...

    Stagecoach South & South East

Oh no I fully agree the change of number isn’t necessary, I was just explaining why they will have changed it to 400, 401 etc. rather than to 6,6A. I feel a lot of this is due to pressure from the local council to serve Estuary View again after the withdrawal of the 4, so they thought there...
