And some of the 377s are dual voltage, so could be used on the WCML using overhead wires...possibly via Newton as well (the Chat Moss). How good would it be to have Electrostars on these routes? And if the line speeds are increased, it would be a logical progression that these could be used for...
It'd be nice to see them on the Northern Line beyond Kirkby, to Wigan Wallgate....if Merseyrail ever decide to get round to electrifiying that far...and if GMPTE don't drag their feet over it
And so do the semi-fast Birmingham N St-Lime Street LM trains...and yes VT used to stop there, that's why the platforms are so long :)

The late night TPEs dont really count, as it isn't their normal line of route....
