I applied and had a confirmation email that they received my application on 11 July. I am being patient as they said I should hear back in 2-4 weeks. I haven't heard anything as yet, keeping my fingers crossed I'll hear soon.
Good luck all.
Hi all, hope you are all well. I just wanted to get an idea of the process if I am successful in the application, any help would be much appreciated. I applied for MTR Crossrail a few years back and got to interview stage where I was unsuccessful due to lack of knowledge on the company. I...
After applying in January and didn't even pass the first online questionnaire, I wrote to them for feedback and questioned how their process worked as it did not make any sense. This was because I applied last year and got to Interview stage, so in my mind I could only improve on my knowledge...
I totally agree, I would much prefer a more personal constructive criticism and have something to build on and improve on. I did request feedback but it was very minimal, along the lines of, I proved to have flexibility for the drivers role but my knowledge of the company was not sufficient! I...
Hi Nick40uk,
Thanks for your help, I completed all assessments and mmi, it was just line managers interview where I was unsuccessful, that's great news as I was reading different things and didn't quite grasp exactly how it worked!
Thanks again, back to the studying and any help would be...
GreatKingRat, That is so positive, great news, thank you!
If I were to have another interview then, would this count as a strike? I'm sorry to ask so many questions, as you can imagine, I really don't want to mess up and miss this opportunity, knowing how hard and how high the number of...
FGW DID, Thank you for your help, that is so reassuring!
So just to clarify, as I applied this January, I've now got to wait another six months before I can re-apply with another TOC?
Thanks for your help, really appreciate it!
Hi All, Can anybody explain the two strikes when applying to become a driver?
I applied last year and completed all assessments and tests and got to an interview stage where I was unsuccessful.
I applied again after six months and completed an online questionnaire set by the toc but was...
Thanks HeelBurton!
Just had a phone call, that's the end for me with crossrail!! Very disappointed in their selection process! Seems very unjustified and to not give you any feedback as to why you failed a questionnaire, when you've already passed it and gave same answers as before?? Ho hum...
I received same email today, I'm really confused though??!! I applied last year, completed everything, assessments etc and got to interview stage which took place 18th July where I was unsuccessful.
I waited six months to pass and luckily they re-advertised for Old Oak Common, so naturally...
Good Luck everyone!! I done all the assessments last year and got up to the interview stage with the Line Managers on 18th July last year. I have re-applied again as the six months have now passed, I had an acknowledgement of my application and was asked to do stage 2, which have done again. I'm...
