Cutting peak extras makes sense if a frequent service level remains. Cutting trains all day to ensure trains go down to one per hour in places is something else. That drives people away from rail.

Yep what really matters is the two things they havn't added. This stock is horrible in spring and summer as the windows are hopelessly poor at getting any sort of airflow unlike other non-AC stock.
