I can't see westfield having that much of an issue at 8am. I can only think that either another service has been cancelled or timetable changed or a bunch of passengers have heard they can now fit on the Southern train post extension and have changed train of choice. A few weeks ago I...

In the last few weeks the new trains have been getting emptier in the evenings, which is understandable with school holidays. The mornings services however have been leaving people on the platform from Harrow and south. Has something been going on with other cancellations forcing more...

Whereas the extra carriage has made a significant impact of some routes, probably around 10-20 standing per carriage on most services. The high peak trains coinciding with a 9-5 job are still bursting from Shepherd's bush to the extent where passengers are being stranded. If the 8 car trains...

It would make sense to split the 8 carriage trains at Watford. It probably goes from 90% capacity to 40% on the trains arriving around 17.20 and 19.20. Don't know about the 18.20, it's too much of a risk to be stranded with no space to get on. 8 carriages are needed on 2 runs a day at...

Thanks for the update. Can you translate diagrams into layman's terms. Do they translate to timetables?

Any idea what "shortly" is, weeks or months? Obviously testing takes time, especially when faults are not easy fixes. Southern won't reveal if they are close to being ready to be added to the service or way off.

Not on the Croydon MKC line, just got a response from Southern saying they are postponing the extension. The peak train that goes past KPA at 17.50 is so full at present that they are telling people not to attempt to board and Kensington and Shepherds Bush.
