Turn up 15 mins before departure!? Surely this cannot be sustainable if the majority of a train decide to turn up 15 mins before departure!

I really can't see this happening, presumably the origin of most return trips would be from Ashford towards Paris / Brussels etc... rather than vice versa. Therefore I feel most people looking to potentially travel may still be put off having to travel to St...
Haha a similar sort of thing happened yesterday. The train was around 30 mins late getting into Brussels from Amsterdam, yet still the staff member was still clunking around with the trolleys more or less for the whole AMS - BRU sector. Plus was only around 1/3 full too
Travelled in Plus twice recently on a morning train. The breakfast service has been very lacklustre (either a Raspberry muffin or a small cheese brioche + Orange Juice & Tea/Coffee). Given they now seem to be doing the bare minimum (unless I've had bad luck), is it not now worth just scrapping...
Out of interest, can anyone see any of the Kent stations opening anytime soon by either Eurostar or an alternative competitor?

I've seen a lot of people complain about the slow journey times on the West / East Coastways both on this forum and in person. What can be done to improve these services, or do you think they work fine just as they are?
I think the Horsham - Peterborough route is an unusual one (I can only comment south of London):
- It is quicker to change at Three Bridges from Crawley / Horsham to get to the core
- All the times I've travelled the service south of Redhill, it is virtually empty - seems a waste of a 12 car...
Three Bridges could potentially do with some more Victoria services (currently gets 2 per hour). Haywards Heath gets 6 per hour I believe as a comparison. I understand that it is meant to be the "express" service from Brighton, but the amount of empty seats I normally see south of Gatwick may...
