    Shame if they're single door, as a passenger one of the main things I appreciate about the XLBs is the swift exit.

    More dual-door buses would maximise the benefits of dual-door buses: as it is, the benefits are often reduced because they are waiting in a stack at a bus stop while a single-door bus in front of them unloads and then loads.

    back in the 80s Greater Manchester Transport used to occasionally send an open-topper out in normal service if it was a really nice day.
