Managed to get Ted Kennedy's (brother of JFK) autograph about 25 year's ago on a Holyhead to Euston service, that's when it was loco hauled. Apparently he was travelling back to London from a funeral in north Wales.
Just got in from work and watching it at the mo, The only thing interesting on it at the moment is the red academic red head, I digress. Can anyone tell me what service the 37 was working last night at Carlisle, and is it on going regular diagram.
I definately agree with you about the more comfortable seating and better leg room which is nice seeing that i am over six feet tall, i hate being crammed in to those awful Voyagers. Whats happened to the Bristol to south west loco hauled services which were originally class 31,s.
Thanks for that, Might make a leap for it on saturday to London.

Thanks for the gen, been out of the loop for a while. Good hear to that there will be some more loco hauled services in the future.
With more 68,s is the plan to create more loco hauled Chiltern services in the near future, and is the 14.22 Leam to M,bone service booked as a 68 or is it a unit.
