    Incident at Dalcross Station (25/10/25)

I blame the Police for putting him on the train, the man could have been easily killed whilst trespassing. Not even the Police realises how dangerous it can be around the railway whilst intoxicated. They just decided for the easiest fixing.

    TPWS isolation question

I'm not entirely understanding your query regarding new/old version. Full isolation of TPWS: TPWS and AWS are both isolated. AWS isolated: TPWS working as per normal.

5 conditions to pass 2 reds at danger with authority.

    2) Another condition is, there can not be a distant signal between the 2. Why is this please? The signaller can authorise a driver to pass TWO CONSECUTIVE MAIN LINE STOP SIGNAL AT DANGER when there is no DISTANT SIGNAL between the TWO MAIN ASPECTS (plus the other requirements already...

    Scotrail Trainee Drivers (Ongoing)

This is correct, the content is still the same but they are trying to give trainees an earlier experience in the cab instead of bombarding too much with lot of theory information regarding rules and traction. The very 1st of the "new format" started last April. A note to say that the overall...

    Assessments & Medicals discussion

No problem then, I'm sorry if I haven't managed to help you here but I genuinely believe you are looking at it in the wrong way. I leave other forum members to give you support and I wish you good luck to your aspirations.

You are only required to give your best answers based on your own judgement. There aren't any advanced learnings required in order to pass the test and if you continue to approach it in that way it can only lead to further fails.

Can you confirm that you've asked in writing for MMI feedback but they haven't provided? Were your previous interviews related to a railway position and if so what was the outcome?

    Assessments & Medicals discussion

Thank you! Your clarification is spot on, unfortunately the way you worded your previous messages saying "weather or not you failed or passed" was putting me in doubts for the way I was reading it as I was (and still) sure about the RSSB rule. Your contribution is much appreciated!

    Assessments & Medicals discussion

I'm not sure I'm following this, sorry. Imagine someone (who is in the old process of 2 "lives" for example) and is successful, goes in the pool but doesn't get a job, psychometrics expired after 5 years and no job. The candidate reapplies again, is successful again, goes in a pool but again...

The 2 lives rule (before 7 December 24) and the 3 lives rule (after 7 December 24) is regarding "failed attempts". Until you fail all your lives are there no matter the number of attempts.

Part of your post is not really clear: How many times have you failed, it was 1 or 2? When have you sat your very 1st attempt? On what grounds would you like to make an appeal?

    Assessments & Medicals discussion

Regarding what to expect from the medical this is covered in detail on this thread, if you use the search tab it will bring all the discussions related to the topic. Regarding the waiting time this is a bit difficult to give you an answer. I would guess is still early just now considering start...
