Huddersfield-Manchester trains on Sunday should be quite entertaining considering there will be about 30,000 fans going, and the stock being 2 car 156s or 3 car 185s :D

Personally could not see there being much demand from Colne or Burnley at all. Maybe Blackburn or Accrington however.

Colne-Burnley Central, not very busy. However this service then picks up from there onwards.

How busy are late night services (after about 9pm) out of Manchester Victoria during the week and at weekends? Do they ever have trouble on, and are full and standing? Also, what about late night services out of Blackpool North after about 9pm, during the week and at weekends, are these busy?

People always seem to forget that Poulton is actually a busy little station! If it was me, i would do the following: Blackpool North-Liverpool, keep the same. Blackpool North-York, keep the same. Blackpool North-Huddersfield, extend it from Man Vic-Huddersfield. Blackpool...

Has either Blackpool lines ever had a problem with kids messing around throwing stones or vandalism?

In my experince on trains to Blackpool in the summer they always have their fare share of idiots. Liverpool's especially on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Bet trains to Blackpool were busy this weekend, anyone work them?!

Is there even demand for a 4th southern service to Brighton?

The only extras i can see this weekend are for the London Marathon on Sunday morning

Easter holidays usually brings a start to all this

South Eastern 465s used to be awful for this, as well as Southern 456s. Also as mentioned, the Northern 156s look tatty when they have etched tables and back of seats.

Any news on the timings and extra services?

Arent they also supposed to start running between Crewe and Preston?
