Cheers Malor. About the start on 1st April. Obviously it's day 1 so will be at Willesden I believe for the majority but NXG will be my depot once through the initial training. Just wanted a heads up on how it all works! Thanks

Thanks for the info Malor. I hope this don't sound like a silly question but with regards to the days off. Do they try and roster it so that they are together or could you be faced with say a Monday and then a Thurs off etc? Thanks

14 years in home county force. I can only echo the above. Far too little resources, unrealistic expectations and little support. I've made some friends for life though and worked with some really good people. I've just secured a trainee driver role and start in April. Can't wait to begin!

Initially I thought it went well, but the more I think about it, the more I think I could have said this and could of said that, the same with any interview tho I guess. They seemed happy with my responses unless they just wanted to get rid of me for an early lunch! How'd u feel yours went?

Thanks SuperLionBang. Like yourself, I ended up staying the distance to the MMI. I found them fairly non committal with a time frame. Hopefully we hear the result soon and then join the queue for a DMI!

Email recieved today for invite to stage 2. Anyone else going up to Watford on 18 Jan?

Had my stage 1 assessment on Fri just gone. Anyone started hearing anything yet? I know it's only been a few days but with the advice given that the turnaround for stage 2 is likely to be the following week, the impression I got was that the results would be fairly swift.

Does anyone know what the likely shift start and finish times are for NXG? Also the likely shift pattern, days on, days off etc Thanks!
