When I was a grade 2 resident signaller my net pay was about 2400 pounds without any over time, no student loans etc and its a 24hour signal box on 12 hour roster. Bear in mind that I was also receiving outer London allowance and LAOS. With over time I was getting anywhere up to 3100 pounds...
