Smartcard plan for UK public transport

I found this story on Skynews for a Smartcard for national rail and bus users Plans are being drawn up to introduce the cards - based on London`s Oyster scheme - for buses,trains and trams. As announced by transport minister Norman Baker

Chesterfield, platform 3

The new platform should be used for a new link between Chesterfield and the Robin Hood line. Using current frieght lines and disused lines in north east Derbyshire. New stations could be created for Staveley, Clowne and, maybe, Bolsover.
