You sound like me. And I too as well as many echo your cynicism. Much happier, no regrets and even though getting up some mornings at silly o'clock, the work love balance is so much better on the railways than in the job. In fact some of my old colleagues seem to think i don't do any work...

You misinterpreted. The Dashcam footage is in essence what many still refer to as CCTV.

It's CCTV. It will be used for the purpose of detecting a criminal offence. Few offences there. Good thing about traffic offences is they tend to be black and white. I sense a charge of dangerous driving coming on.

I'm ex cop. Don't do it for the money only. You are still accountable. Things will go wrong and you will be under scrutiny, like your old job. Yes you work shifts as a copper and I remember 25 hour days etc but the shifts can be very tiring, starting before 4AM one week then not finishing...

Oz if you have PR. Driving isn't on the SOL. Can get sponsored but as people can be recruited fairly easy in the home country chances are now fairly slim.
