Running the Overground through Stratford and up to Meridian Water (and even potentially to Chingford via the Hall Farm Curve) is apparently an option on the table as part of a total re-jig of Stratford station.

What can they do at Christmas? I thought nothing could happen until the trains are running through the core?

Has there recently been some progress on this? I saw that there was going to be reduced overnight service on TfL Rail for a few months over Summer, and wondered if it was related.

I think the Platform Edge Doors have train indicators on them to avoid that confusion.

I think you'd get hammered if you didn't plan around the passenger reduction due to Crossrail, so I'd be extremely surprised if bidders didn't come up with some assumptions around the timetable. Then the standard timetabling software (MOIRA) will give a good estimate of the revenue loss.

I'm sure it will somewhat, but I think it's prudent to wait until we see that before allocating the capacity elsewhere. It seems always to be the case that 'spare' capacity never seems to be spare for very long. Great Eastern frequencies will increase as they'll have the extra platforms (15-16)...

I don't know why everyone is trying to divert/extend the Met. It's already full EB in the peaks (so shouldn't be extended significantly North/West), and the empty capacity is needed at Liverpool St WB in the peaks to clear the otherwise rammed platforms (so shouldn't be extended...

Yes, and the number of times there are delays started by long dwells at Forest Gate and Manor Park shows just why these stations need the extra services/regular stopping pattern.

It's back to a 345 today - is this due to the Reduced Length Units no longer being needed on the Western side?
