    Liverpool City Region-Bus Franchising

I’m sure I read somewhere that all new buses being procured will be from either Wrightbus or ADL.

    Arriva Buses (including Greenline)

You said you were “shocked how poor the Tunbridge Wells fleet was”. Living in the area and seeing their vehicles nearly every day, I considered it to be a totally inaccurate statement. I was just trying to correct this misconception and ensure some balance. I then asked people to look for...

    Arriva Buses (including Greenline)

If anyone wants to make their own mind up on Arriva Tunbridge Wells vehicle presentation then don’t take my word just do a Flickr search on “Arriva Tunbridge Wells” and reach your own conclusion. Local knowledge is sometimes a good guide!

    Arriva Buses (including Greenline)

Yes the T/Wells fleet is on the older side, but the registration number cannot just be used as a proxy for the condition of the vehicle. It needs saying that the T/Wells fleet is actually very well presented and maintained and the engineering work undertaken on some of the older vehicles...

    Arriva UK new buses 2019

The Sapphire liveried Streetlites recently allocated to Guildford for Routes 34/35 are not new vehicles, but are those cascaded from Northfleet by the brand new Streetlites for Route 480/490 in Kent.

Websites and apps that have a bus tracker that shows the reg number or fleet number of the vehicles.

This is a very interesting development, but I would not take the vehicle information as being indicative rather than 100% accurate. There will always be a few "ghosts in the machine". For example, if I look at the Arriva Herts and Essex indicative vehicle list, it currently shows vehicles 1501...

    Caledonian Sleeper discussion

I've probably missed this, but what is the reason why 92014 is not on the Sleeper circuit at the moment. It appeared to be a regular until Christmas?

    Carillion in Liquidation

Thanks for clearing this up! I suppose that it would seem obvious that suppliers to Carillion are therefore just going to have to stop supplying (unless they are one of the lucky ones where the Official Receiver guarantees payment for Government based contracts). So, as you say, there will...
