    Uses for redundant Class 67s.

Thanks James, I was hoping a driver might be along to explain. Makes me wonder why Dbs sold some to colas then really, I'd have thought they'd hang onto all of them just in case. Or maybe colas were desperate for locos and paid alllllootttttt.....

Hmmm, I'm not sure I agree with most of your opinions Paul. Have a look at the ' rail' article about the super 60s...it was more than tinkering , it involved a full rebuild inc the engine block. They spent upwards of £3m on them so I'd take issue that ,' as soon as something else comes...

    Trainee Driver vacancies DBS

An interesting option, but be certain you are going to stay. If you leave within 2 years, they'll take you to court for a mind blowing £52000 pounds.

Freightliner trainee driver positions ('Graduate scheme')

Thanks for the info, They seem to be relying on people on low wages now who can withstand the year and then jump to 40k plus, If your on similar cash now, I think anyone would struggle to survive a year

Anyone know how long training is ? I need to see if I'd be able to survive on 18k that long
