You'd think flying on a cushion of air would be nice and smooth, but it's anything but!
I've only done the Isle of Wight Hovercraft. The old ones had a very bumpy ride. The newer craft have a higher centre of gravity and a more "wobbly" ride
One of the cranes can be seen towing the
re-railed carriage. I take it the other one follows to the point where the carriage is transferred to road?

I see in later post a road based crane is lifting them off the track onto a low-loafer
Could you transfer the class 458/4 to Southern and cascade class 387 from GWR using the class 350/2?
Allowing strengthening of Southern services and cascading more class 377 to Southeastern. Or would this create an excess?
Losing level boarding isn't ideal, but only the only other airport train to offer it is the Elizabeth line from Core Stations, though don't know what the boarding at Heathrow is like
