You would think they would ramp up recruitment. I know 2 people who have been stuck in a talent pool for a year. Saying that though I know it isn’t as easy as just brining more people in. Hopefully they will get it sorted soon.

Very true. We arrived into the west bound LU platform at 16:42 and they were just starting the evacuation of the station. There was a not in service 707 in the NB thameslink platform (and looked like it had been there a while).

I believe there was a separate fire alarm at Farringdon. I was on a met train (fast Chesham) pulling in when it went off. The LU station staff said the passengers in the platform should get on our train or evacuate.

yep it is spotlog. It isn't the best looking app out there but it does the job really really well.

hi all, Yesterday I saw 221116 at Telford Central heading for London. I noticed it had been named “City of Bangor”. This was the same style as the pendlino name but on a sticker (not quite straight). I can’t find any other record of the unit being given the name.

Well done, I'm in the same boat. I passed my assesments early october but they said I needed to wait for an interview. I also changed my depot preference as they said that the shrewsbury interviews wouldn't be until late next year. Hopefully I should hear something soon. Good luck

Hi all, I was going back through an old spotting book and found a TPX 158 from 2004 that I could not trace. 158972. I tried a few sites and could come up with anything. I thought I must of written it down wrong but I have found photos of the unit from around that period. I know some were split...

If it was done through the opc, you might be able to get the results from them. Google "the opc". When I last did the test plus a few others they said they could give feedback if they have the time.

What other driver depots are there. I have heard that the interviews for Shrewsbury wont be until late next year now. There are other intakes needed sooner and i don't mind travelling.

Had the assement today. i think it went ok. Fingers crossed for the next 7-10 days
