I notice the complementary glass of wine, and even sandwiches have disappeared from the latest first class menu at GWR, is that really the case or they no longer advertise these complementary items.. Cornwall bound next week :( quote GWR...
please sign this petition regarding the dire state of the Skegness service this Summer, EMR/ DFT are pushing people into their cars, 2 car trains in high Summer :(

shockingly bad that ALL trains now only 5 cars regardless of crowding, to think before we had 7 car or 10 car doubles on peak services, what a way to run a railway..
notice a petition has been started regarding the dire overcrowding on the Skegness line and cancellation of this Summer's extra trains or replacement buses..

was he pushed due to the state EMR are in at the moment, staff I spoke to in Derby seem totally demoralised, especially with the class 810s, even the 180s seem in a better league..
personally, I have long given up with the Pancras service, its via Doncaster or Tamworth for me, EMR must have literally driven away hordes of former passengers..
EMR should at least remove evening off peak restrictions to Leicester and beyond, while this fiasco is ongoing, the 1832 is booked a 5 car 222, so no capacity there, but if travel allowed throughout the evening peak to help spread the load.
London Northwestern railway sale, zonal fares from £7.50 and railcard discount allowed too.. book 7 days ahead and travel until 31 AUG
