It has to be 60098 'Charles Francis Brush'

The naming was not without some lobby from Brush Traction when it was pointed out that he fitted the class theme of social reformers.
The locomotive should reside at the GCR along with the Class 31 and...
Agree about Barcelona Estacio de Franca but so very few trains to see.
Also agree about Sants but at least there is plenty of trains to observe.
I've often thought of trying to find a vantage point at Santa Eulalia to view the Sants approaches.
Although the traffic is less at Vilanova...
If you get time the Railway Museum at Vilanova I la Geltru is worth a visit its next to the station. When I went in 2008 it was open every day except Mondays. Trains are regular from Barcelona Sants and serve the resort of Sitges and then onward to Vilanova where many of the services terminate...
With all the investment in St Pancras it would be a waste of resource to reinstate Waterloo. Its not just the trains but the infrastructure and staffing.
Perhaps it could be used as an empty stock stabling point to reduce the contant drags to CJ.
Re Madrid Atocha Is there a vantage point east of the station to watch trains arriving and departing? Its hard tell from Google Earth.
Valencia is another great Spanish Station love the architecture
finally got a close up of the mock GWR Hall at the new Harry Potter attraction at Universal Studios. Pretty convincing until I tapped the cylinders that were fibre glass. A blast of steam (dry ice?) made me jump.
The whole attraction is worth a visit but be early and make it your first stop in...
Share the observation of Oracle that the landing pad has been there for some time although I think the railtrack has only been in situ for the last few years. There are three helipads on International drive. (although the one near the Four Points at Sheraton looks to be closed).
Here is a shot...
A Helicopter pad on International Drive Orlando Florida is surrounded by a railtrack with a drive through shed. Parked where the line meets the main road was a streetcar. This was not in use during my visit but was in use as an advertising media for the helicopters. Does anyone have info on this...
The MTA is a real fun ride. Some stations have through lines for routes not served by the station and the sight of non-stoppers flahing through between the girders is quitedramatic. Times Square is a good example. A few trips down line 1 will soon get you number crunching. My last visit was for...
Other than the two works shunters only 92046 and 37197 were noted at Brush Loughborough on the morning of 25/04
The passing of 5043 on the MML en route Tyseley - York made my day.
