Just got on a non-refurb 360 and this is what their wifi was still presenting...

Meridians are out supplementing 360s again today...

360s are going backwards again this week. More short forming and no refurbs out.

107 and 109 are out today paired together. First fully refurbed 8 car train! Now I'm just crossing my fingers it stays that way and forms my diagrams for tomorrow...

360 109 is out of action again today due to a problem with the doors, probably not a coincidence that this is one part of the mechanical systems that appears to have had an upgrade - much quicker to open - when they do...

Ok, but when a TOC gives you more compensation than you claimed for (as has happened to me), would you (edit: try to) give it back?

So I am currently on a journey via London that is 28 minutes delayed on the inbound, and having 90 minutes to think about it I had a few speculative questions... feel free to ignore any silly ones... If I am delayed on the way to a connection and could make up the time by running, should I run...

Ok so despite being able to run fewer paths than usual today due to the residual disruption, all Connect services have been canned from the middle of the afternoon through end of day due to lack of availability...

Train to Watford Junction, train to St Albans Abbey, Walk to St Albans City, TL paid for taxi to Harpenden, then paid for another to Luton when they realised the shuttles weren't leaving Bedford anymore, then finally I paid for the last taxi leg home from the station to get more time in bed...

Hopefully final update for anyone else still stuck: shuttles appear to have paused, next one has been due to leave Bedford for ages. Harpenden is now putting on taxis northbound.
