The BMW at Newhaven Harbour has finally gone :D

I use it at least a couple of times a week and (thankfully for me) frequency has actually gone back up in the last couple of years. It used to be peak hours only Mon-Fri, but now it is every 30 mins peak / every 1 hour off peak. What has always made me laugh is the Meeting Point sign... cannot...

Wow, at last in December Eastbourne gets its connection back to London (...sigh... ...shakes head...). Obviously it's the London Bridge - Eastbourne direct morning / evening peak services that are returning (so is relevant to this thread)...

Yikes, has there ever been such a circuitous route between Brighton and Victoria before (three trains / 1 bus)?!

Niche I know, but it looks like Newhaven Harbour gets back an hourly service Monday - Friday, with service every 30 minutes in the peak :D

Came across this youtube video on Newhaven Marine. Nothing new in it although nicely put together, just stunned it has been viewed nearly half a million times since 21 January!

Easy to say if it is not your local station, otherwise hands off Newhaven Harbour!! Actually there is little wrong with Harbour station and (some) money has been spent on it - the lighting is good and the canopy is decent on the northbound side (sure it could do with a lick of paint). The bridge...

I caught the Victoria service this morning from Newhaven Harbour. Two observations, one is that the Marine station is completely closed off now with high fencing and a security gate. Also the normal Newhaven Harbour terminator that usually waits in the Harbour station waiting the London service...

Hands off, that's my local station!!

Thanks Sunset, sorry yes I did mean the direct evening return ex Victoria. I appreciate the clarification as I didn't read the direct return, I just hope it stays there! :-)

Am I right in seeing only one direct Seaford - Victoria service in the morning, and none in the evening? :-(

In the meantime will they run a parliamentary ghost bus to Newhaven Marine to cover the necessary legalities?
