Don’t be disheartened if you are placed in the holding pool guys, I was placed in it and and a month later was emailed to attend 3rd assessment. My advice would be keep practicing and preparing for the computer tests and MMI as it could be on you before you know it

Thanks A lot, Yeah, given its obviously a safety critical job that's understandable. I guess its pre match nerves on my part, I got the job and start shortly and I'm excited beyond belief about it but just worry about the training aspect. Not that im not confident in my own ability or anything...

Perhaps a daft (or not) question. Has anyone ever heard of anyone failing their training? Not so much pulling out of the course or the job but literally not been shown competent at the end of their training?

Guys Can I also ask how are scotrail with honouring a pre booked holiday? I am due to start in April and have 10 days booked in November for a trip to the states, all paid for. Will they be okay with this given it would be my first year?

Finally got a date next Monday for my MMI and 2nd assessments. Anyone got any tips or advice? I’m most worried about the traffic picture one to be honest.. any help would be great

I’m in the same boat mate. Just emailed to ask, I see some people got the job ( or at least got to the next stage) and others didn’t. Just all depends but I do worry it’s just void after 6 months
