Hi. Im not gonna name names, but i know someone who would press the lower button and then stop it 3 secs later when cars were blocking the crossing. He or she would do this 30 seconds before the proper time to lower the barriers so as not to delay trains!

Hi. Ive just checked out Realtime trains for freight today at Harrowden Jn, a trainspotters haven, and theres lots of 'runs as required' between 8am and 13.00pm. As far as i can see, theres less than 5 that will definately run. Not exactly busy in my eyes! Im sure there may be more freight...

Hi. There was work at Manton Jn and indeed all the way from Peterborough to Syston a few years ago. That was all for more freight to use the route. Theres only been a handful of extra freights added since then. As far as i can see, theres not much freight on the MML at the best of times...

Hi. First post in ages... Littleworth SB is the only box still standing on the joint line that doesnt serve a purpose. The remaining boxes are either listed or, like Sleaford North, have electrical supplies from them feeding the level crossing. I would love to buy Littleworth.
