I live near Taplow station. There is a road that runs under the train-line next to the station that is rather precarious for pedestrians. Is it possible for me to use contactless to tap-in on one side of Taplow station, use the station bridge to cross the railway line, and tap-out at the other...
Looking at the current allocated journey time for Taplow to Paddington, and return, it's around 38-44 minuets, depending on the time of day. On the Crossrail website, the journey calculator says Taplow to Bond Street will still only be 38 minuets. Will journey times reduce once the whole route...
Thanks for the reply. I'm using a railcard, so would I need a paper ticket from Paddington to Maidenhead, and then travel to Taplow on that same ticket?

Looking at Google Maps, the fastest journey on an anytime single to get home is Paddington-Taplow is via Maidenhead (GWR from PAD to MAI, then TfL Rail from MAI to TAP). Is this allowed on my ticket type?

I couldn't find a recent thread on this, but apologies if there is one. Does anyone know if there is a way to apply a 16-25 railcard on a journey from Taplow to Paddington? The only way I can find is through buying a paper ticket!
The 18:48 (442) WAT-POO is repeatedly getting delayed and having a knock-on effect on the 19:05 (444). That later service is now regularly waiting on station approaches for the 442 to clear the platform. Surely something will need to be done?
