Just double checked with someone who knows everything. Contrary to my previous post, Blackpool don't sign 155's but do sign their one car equivalent, the 153.

I'm also pretty certain that Blackpool guards sign 155's, although I'm not sure about drivers. Vic certainly do. I also think that Vic and Blackpool are the only West side depots to still sign 158's, although most of the other depots used to sign...

Vic currently have 7 links with 18 guards in each. It still works along the lines of link progression, with a guard moving up into the next link when a vacancy becomes available. Essentailly, the larger the depot, the more links and variety of work...

It may be the case that vacancies have been filled by candidates who were placed in the talent pool having earlier taken an assessment.
