The tram is now only every 15 minutes between Victoria and Piccadilly.

A Mills Hill to Stockport single always used to include the tram between Victoria and Piccadilly.

The previous wording was clear (although it would have been better if it had included all rail journeys requiring the use of Metrolink to cross Manchester like the through ticketing via the London Underground). The new wording is anything but clear.

We know that the wording on cross-Manchester tickets has changed but what has changed in terms of validity?

The route "Via Metrolink CTLZ" only used to apply to rail journeys between pairs of stations in the TfGM area requiring (or having as an option) a need to cross Manchester between Piccadilly and Victoria using Metrolink. Every other journey required the passenger to pay for a Metrolink ticket...

"Via Manchester" does not indicate whether the ticket is valid on Metrolink between Piccadilly and Victoria.

I suspect that the path of the TfW Manchester train is fixed in stone because of Castlefield.

You can't leave Chester earlier to cater for a stop at Cheadle because that would conflict with the TfW train to Manchester Airport via Warrington.

It is galling to see 195s on the Rose Hill service when the Mid Cheshire Line is exclusively 150s and 156s.

195s are currently banned from the Mid Cheshire Line due to a clearance issue at an overbridge south of Hale.

Paths are in RTT for Westerleigh to be served from Lindsey from December. Nothing yet for Theale.

It would help if this was made clear on LNER's online seating plans.

A Google search says "On LNER trains, unreserved seating is located in Coach C for Standard Class and Coach E or M for First Class". Is the issue that the unreserved seating is not the whole coach?
