Maybe in fantasy land here, but the Marks Tey - Sudbury line would be perfect for a class 230 to allow the Stadler trains to be used wider network.
They seem such a waste on such a short branch when the rest...
There seem to be very few benefits over what can be achieved by building a huge office block, lifts etc could be fitted in with lifts where the current ticket office is now to the high level and using the piazza where McDonalds is now or the McDonalds site.
This scheme will be 10 years of...
Maybe they need to get home, back to work or have something important booked ?
The real question is why there is a lack planning for disruption, there is not enough capacity at St Pancras or Gare Du Nord on a usual day I can only imagine the misery those delayed had yesterday and today.

Cheap fares are available quite a way out, but if you want to travel now and get somewhere at a specific time, then the cost of a train can be eye watering compared to getting in the car, particularly if there multiple passengers.

But Subsidy has gone up incredibly, something does not add up here, there is passenger and government money leaking out everywhere from what is public transport.
I flew with Air UK for connecting flight in Amsterdam using the old terminal at Stansted on an old Fokker 27 !,
The designers of the current Stansted Terminal had no idea that the low costs airlines would expand so much and Stansted was planned as another full service airport, they would have...
Hello,
We have a 2017 Renault Zoe with the 22kw battery pack, owned from new on a very cheap deal being one of the last 22kw battery vehicles and the dealer was looking to move it on. Usually will do around 80 miles on a charge, but we only use it for short journeys so don't need a longer...
We used the Green Multi Storey carpark earlier in the year, it is a 5 min walk away.
I find it much more preferable to letting someone I don't know drive my car to a possible off-site location.
My first impression is these would be excellent for a competitor to Eurostar to take a lot of Passengers to Paris with 16/18 double deck Coaches per trip.
