An interesting site along the M4 eastbound today: A convoy of various Bath and or Bristol based buses in all shapes, sizes and liveries. Not sure whether they are transferring, or perhaps off for some RRS work this weekend, although nothing on the GWR network that I can see.

I was in Taunton a couple of months ago, and, as you can no doubt imagine, the old bus station was a rather sorry state, so this I'm sure is welcome news.

Indeed, I found that quite ironic. If I remember rightly that was their originally intended route in 2009, but were taken off shortly after for being too long!

Oh dear, that is rather plain and uninspired in my opinion. Especially after all the new schemes we've seen in recent years (many of which will linger on for many years no doubt). I had semi assumed that WestBus livery was a promotional one to be used on a handful of buses, rather like Traveline...

Spot on! 69457&8 however stayed in Bristol (MH) before joining the rest of the fleet in Wells, and have I believe worked at every single depot in our region, past and present. Last I saw of those two was in Bath, though not sure where they are now.

The Marshall Darts!!! There's something I'd quite happily fogotten about!! :D I think they were used on the fairly short lived 87/88 Severnside routes.

Yes, indeed hard to know. From a snapshot today, the former Fishponds buses seem to be the mainstay on the various Bristol Wells routes, with not a ME E400 in site, although that was probably more because I just didnt see one!

I'm so lost now in terms of what is working where and what livery is correct! Wells seems to have an all new (second hand) fleet, with a handfull of the ME E400s remaining.

Haha, it's taking me a while to get my head round the Bristol changes too! The Somerset ones are a bit more straight forward.

Now if the Badgerline brand is expanded to include Wells depot to replace Mendip Explorer.... :D

The 376 extension was, in my view, always going to happen. Kind of had it set up earlier in the year with the introduction of 374/375. And as the above poster notes, restores an old link which ran in the 90s before being split in 2000 (376/377), and briefly revived as 376 between 2005-2007...

It's a shame the citylines scheme wasn't continued; I rather liked that one. Haven't seen the new standard livery yet - what's it like?

It is all Wells worked, (apart from one random 374 journey operated by Taunton, although that only goes as far as Wells). I dont know whether there are many diagrams that do the whole circuit but I expect they do.
