I agree that Preston Bus Station is far from perfect internally but would argue for modernisation rather than demolition.
There is no replacement planned.
The cost of purchasing the privately owned Fishergate Centre would be astronomical, there is the problem of trapping buses in the current Fishergate one way system and by the time Tithebarn is built it would be at the OTHER end of town where the current bus station is, about 0.7miles away...
