35 weeks includes your manual handling. So you have 13 weeks of actual classroom-based training, then you do your manual handling. Once you've done that and you're able to drive a train, the paygrade goes up.

I'm in for Leeds. I believe there's a selection of New St and Plymouth people who are on the course starting in 3 weeks (8 people). The course that started today with 4 people is wholly New St.

Merry Christmas folks. I received a phone call from the training centre just before Christmas advising me that medicals are being arranged for start of January. Anyone else in a similar boat?

So, for the lucky handful who've just sat their Watford assessments (Monday and today), how did people get on?

Spoke to HR the other day. OPC are currently out of their offices due to the virus issue so it's going to be a while for them to tell XC results for people. I think it's going to be a case of sit tight and wait for it all to blow over. They haven't forgotten us!
