The Tables on the refurbished Class 158 are exactly the same height to table top as previous. The thing that has changed is the depth of the table rim which is now 50mm in line with RGS due to crashworthiness.

My informed source says that the seats are the IC3000 grammer seats and are exactly thee same as those fitted to FGW an Scotrail. The only difference...

I think we will like it. It looks bright inside with the new lighting and seats. Although many dont like the new seats (scotrail 158 and FGW HST) because of their height...
