Agreed! You need to make certain that the Car objects referred to in your extensions.cfg file are named correctly and actually exist in the directory which the file points to. If you had followed the instructions given... (need I say more?) :D

Almost certainly graphics card settings, especially if you are getting the outlines on scenery too. I'm no expert, but you could try alternative or even earlier grahics card drivers. What is your graphics card?
